LITHOFIN

In 1953 Glaubrecht Stingel in Esslingen am Neckar began producing a new cleaner: ST57 KUKÜ. The demand for this and other products has been growing, and so a large range of products has been developed quickly. The growing success of the firm Glaubrecht Stingel led to the fact that the company premises soon became insufficient. Therefore in 1961 the entire company was relocated to the nearby Wendlingen. The chemical plant was built on the spacious premises, from which customers all over Germany were later supplied in the neighboring European countries. In 1974 the son, Heinz-Peter Stingel, took over the company after completing his chemistry studies. He focused the business on ceramics, natural stone and artificial stone, and in 1979 consolidated all the products under the brand name LITHOFIN (Lithofin is a combination of the Greek lithos = the stone and english finish = end treatment). Based on the quality and service of the columns, the LITHOFIN brand quickly grew beyond the borders of Germany: first into neighboring Europe, then also overseas. To meet the increasing popularity of the name LITHOFIN, LITHOFIN AG was founded in 2006. Today, LITHOFIN employs more than 60 people in the areas of development, production, sales and administration. LITHOFIN is one of the leading suppliers in the field of cleaning, protecting and caring for ceramics, natural stone and concrete.
