Heel is a part of foot that tolerates most of body weight. There are different factors which will lead to discomfort or pain of heel or Achilles tendon. The Achilles tendon is a fibrous tissue that connects the heel to the muscles of the lower leg. Common causes of heel pain are overstressed to the foot such as long- term of standing or walking, improper shoes and foot problems such as flat foot deformity. Pa Be Pa heel pad is designed to reduce the strain on Achilles tendon and relief and redirects pressure away from painful areas. Heel pad also provides shock absorption and pressure redistribution to help relieves pain. Silicon and anti-bacterial nanomaterials have been used to prevent any problem at long stays in the shoes.

In nano-dimension, antibacterial effect of silver increases significantly, so that they are able to destroy over 650 bacterial species. It is reported that these nanoparticles have significant antifungal activities against some ringworms. Ag nanoparticles interact with sulfur and phosphorus compounds of membrane proteins affecting cell morphology and structure, causing its death. With decreasing particle size, the release of silver ions increases, leading to increasing their antibacterial activities.
