NanoWater employs a revolutionary chemical-free and energy-free approach to eliminating waterborne pathogens – effectively shifting the paradigm from traditional filtering, chemical disinfecting techniques and UV to a bonded film fluid purification system. This technology utilizes solid-phase, water insoluble disinfection to eliminate waterborne pathogens with zero energy requirements for operation. The Amosil-Q technology found in the NanoWater system bonds irreversibly to the media during manufacture. It destroys bacteria, viruses, algae and parasitic protozoa on contact. The destruction of the pathogen occurs on contact with the treated surfaces. Contact with the treated surface produces lysis of the pathogen’s cellular membrane resulting in instant destruction and inactivation of the pathogen.
