This product is a cellulosic film containing silver nanoparticles with antibacterial properties. For its production, cellulosic film which is a natural polysaccharide and a biocompatible material is produced and then silver colloid is sprayed on it. This product can be used for second degree burns, autolytic debridement (removal of infected tissue from an infected wound with the help of gauze) and tissue necrosis removal (dead tissue) and is also effective in the process of wound healing due to infection control.Silver has effective antimicrobial properties and in the form of nanoparticles, it provides terrific driving forces for diffusion, which allows chemical reactions to occur at a high rate.
