Our core expertise includes nanofiber materials development, nanofiber manufacturing, and market knowledge of established and emerging nanofiber applications. nanoScaffold Technologiesworks closely with its customers to assess the value nanofiber technology may bring to their products. Through a variety of consulting services and products, we reduce the time it takes to evaluate, implement and commercialize nanofiber technology and products. We capitalize on a network of materials suppliers, technology providers, testing labs, and analytical services to offer a comprehensive service to our customers. nanoScaffold Technologies was founded and is led by Ismael Ferrer, who has a decade's experience researching, developing, and commercializing nanofiber technology and products. Mr. Ferrer is an expert in electrospinning technology, the predominant method for manufacturing polymer nanofibers. His expertise also includes polymer science, air and liquid filtration, and market knowledge of nanofiber products. Prior to founding nanoScaffold Technologies, Mr. Ferrer spent several years developing filtration technology and nanofiber products at GE Osmonics and Donaldson Company. More recently, Mr. Ferrer served in product management and market development roles at Elmarco, Inc. He is a patent holder in the area of nanofiber materials and products. Mr. Ferrer received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and MS degrees in Chemistry and in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota.
