THE SOLIBRO CIGS TECHNOLOGY
CIGS (Cu, In, Ga, Se2) has the highest efficiency potential among thin-film solar cell materials. The CIGS technology of Solibro is based on extensive research and development carried out at Uppsala University. These activities resulted in world class results, such as the current world record CIGS thin-film modules with 18.7% efficiency, and were the basis for the spin-off company Solibro AB. Development in Uppsala is now continued with expanded resources at Solibro Research AB, a subsidiary of Solibro GmbH.
