Hot drinks such as tea, coffee, Nescafe, etc. are popular drinks, especially in cold seasons. Their main problem is getting cold when they are at ambient temperature. To this end, some dishes are developed to keep drinks warm during serving.  A small place is considered for candle in the design of these dishes. They usually have a glass container for drinks and a metallic holder. Metallic holders should be protected against corrosion, abrasion, scratches and stains. TiN and some other nitrides are common coatings for this end. They have good corrosive and abrasive properties in addition to beautiful golden color. The most common methods to deposit these coatings are physical vapor deposition (PVD) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD). Due to some specific properties of different PVD methods (Arc-PVD and sputtering) such as getting nanostructured coating, high speed of production and good coating quality, they have become more common for these kind of coating
