Manufacturer's Description

Comprehensive panels for the detection of IgG autoantibodies against cell nucleus, vasculitis and Liver antigens. The assays are intended for in vitro diagnostic use only as an aid in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD), vasculitis, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC) and so forth.
Nuclear and associated cytosolic antigens are applied as lines on nitrocellulose membrane strips. The strip is first blocked to prevent nonspecific bindings. During incubation, autoantibodies present in the patient sample bind to the antigens on the strip. An alkaline phosphatase labeled anti-human IgG antibody is used to detect the bound auto-antibodies. After addition of the substrate solution, the appearance of purple blue lines indicates the existence of auto-antibodies against the corresponding antigens.
