MTX is a color changeable material reliant on the strength of the magnetic field; production of color is made by microscopically structured surface in combination with photonic crystals, which is fine enough to interfere with visible light.
When an external magnetic field is varied, the distances between nanoparticles are finely adjusted, enabling any color in the visible spectrum to be displayed. Unlike other comparable technologies that utilize colors pigments or color filters, simple magnetic field adjustments facilitate color changes.
Simple manipulation and unique system of MTX leads to an application of anti-counterfeiting system. Furthermore, superparamagnetism property makes our MTX to be applicable in terms of bioengineerings; biosensors, MRI contrast agents, Drug Delivery Systems (DDS), and Point-of-care testing (POCT).
