Nanostring technology has also extended to the detection of proteins through the labeling of specific antibodies with the color barcode.These antibodies would be those that would specifically recognize the protein, so that at the end, for its quantification, the probe reporter with the color barcode would be excised from the antibody being free to proceed to its union to the cartridge and later reading.
