Bauknecht was founded in 1919, and in 1991 became part of the Whirlpool Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and provider of household appliances, based in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Bauknecht Hausgeräte GmbH employs around 1,600 staff. Its head office is located in Stuttgart.
