Chuck and Frank propelled the company forward through hard work, integrity, and a commitment to product innovation. Almost a century later, Cramer remains true to these roots and our headquarters still sits on the footprint of the first Cramer building in Gardner, Kansas.
Cramer Products has led the sports medicine industry for nearly 95 years. From our days of educating the first athletic trainers to proudly founding the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, which we still support today, Cramer carries on the innovative ideals of our founders.
We use the most advanced materials and science available to create products designed by athletic trainers for athletic trainers. In fact, many of us here at Cramer are certified athletic trainers. So it’s no surprise that Cramer products meet the needs of athletic trainers, sports medicine clinicians, and athletes of all ages and skill levels.
In recent years, Cramer enhanced its growth and diversification through several acquisitions. In 2004, Cosom Sporting Goods was acquired, increasing Cramer’s line of physical education products. In 2008, we acquired Active Ankle Systems, Inc., a leading supplier of braces and supports. And the newest member of the Cramer family was acquired in June 2011--Stromgren Athletics, a leader in compression and protective performance apparel.
