Diversified Minerals Inc. was
founded in 1990 in Ventura, California by James, (Jim) Price after several years of work in the boating and environmental industry. Jim’s unique ability to find value in waste streams became apparent while developing a very early program for Fly Ash, and Cement Kiln Dust remediation. Jim’s unique ability to find value in waste streams became apparent while developing a very early program for Fly Ash, and Cement Kiln Dust remediation. Following in the cement footsteps of his Dad and Grandfather, along with an innate mechanical and inquisitive mind, Jim and his team developed remediation processes for a variety of wastes headed for landfills. Running an environmental business in the contentious and litigatory climate of California has brought many challenges yet every challenge has provided another revenue stream. “I would have never thought a lot of what we do would end up benefitting the environment the way it has… “, says Jim. “So much of what we do benefits our clients economically as well as reducing landfill inputs and carbon outputs”.
