Gelatex is a materials technology startup that is specialized in innovating nanofibrous materials and nanofiber production technologies. Our proprietary high-throughput nanofiber production technology is the fastest solution-spinning technology. We are especially focused on the production of bio-based nanofibers, but can work with variety of different polymers. Compared to electrospinning, our technology enables over 90% cheaper nanofiber production for applications such as tissue engineering, cultured meat, drug discovery, wound care, energy storage, filtration, and more. We are providing nanofiber manufacturing as well as development services for companies to develop the materials for a specific application. We have developed our own edible 100% vegan scaffolds for cultured meat and are continously developing new products also on our own.
