IBZ-Salzchemie GmbH & Co. KG was founded by Dipl.-Chem. Gabriele Ziegenbalg and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Gerald Ziegenbalg in 2003. We are a reliable partner for the industry and we bring in our know-how to solve your problem. We are working in lab scale and we are able carrying out research in pilot plant tests. We act as consultant in field tests and assist the work on construction sites. We are a small company of 7 employees and have experience in a wide range of fields (technical chemistry, material science, mining industry, conservation, remediation). Our own research is concentrated on rock sealing, immobilization of contaminants, nanomaterials and material science. We received 4 patents, started our own production and we are publishing many scientific papers.
