In 1994 the Bio-Médicin Laboratories appeared with the proposal of developing high-performance cosmetics as effective as medicines, known today as dermocosmetics. For this, the company used imported nanotechnology inputs. From 1999, seeking greater effectiveness of the natural active principles present in the formulations of its products, started to produce its own nanotechnology called Biosome®. This technology is made up of microscopic capsules with a structure similar to that of cell membranes, about 1/100 the size of a human cell. The products with this technology are absorbed in about 1 minute and act continuously and much more effectively, bringing surprising and visible results already in the first days of use, proven by rigorous clinical tests that follow international standards and that attest the safety and the efficacy, necessary for dermatological products. Since 2004, the company has been offering nanoencapsulated raw materials to the market for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and veterinary sectors and since 2010 has begun the studies of the application of this technology also to the area of ​​agricultural fertilizers, both in the application of nutrients through seed treatment and in the nutrition via leaf. It has been found that the nutrients transported in this way are absorbed by the seeds and / or leaves much more quickly and efficiently, in the most varied cultures. Since absorption is greater and more efficient, smaller dosages can be used, which ultimately reduces the final costs of production. Since 2012 the company supplies nanoencapsulated inputs to some customers and by 2015 the Nanovec® brand , which is composed of an extensive range of products for application in nutrition in the agricultural area, finally appears .
