The feather and down company Otto Keller was established in 1946 by engineer Otto Keller and his wife Elisabeth. The founder personally built the company’s first machines, which remained in constant use for many years.
Located in Altenberge, a village just north of Münster, the company grew continually with time. After the death of Otto Keller, Elisabeth continued the business – first on her own and later alongside her second husband Wilhelm Wienker. The company continued to develop into a respectable mid-sized business. When Elisabeth died in 1982, her son Gerhard Wienker stepped in her position and since then, he has brought the company’s success to a higher level.
