Synkera Technologies was formed in April of 2003 to develop, manufacture, and market innovative yet practical devices based on a combination of nanotechnology, micro and nanofabrication and advanced materials science. The company is currently focused on chemical sensors, ceramic membranes, functional nanocomposites and ceramic MEMS devices. Immediately following incorporation, the company introduced solid-state gas sensors for measuring trace H2, LEL H2, NOX and NF3. This was followed by the introduction of other sensor products, including VOC, H2S and NH3 sensors, as well as monodisperse ceramic membranes and nanotemplates for gas separation, filtration and a variety of other applications.
