Lubravisc

Lubravisc is intended for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee joint by injection. The recommended treatment is one injection of 2 ml solution for three consecutive weeks.

Lubravisc is a viscoelastic substance intended for the treatment of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee joint. The product lubricates and protects cells and tissues by replacing the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. Lubravisc contains 100% biocompatible hyaluronic acid from biological sources with a composition that is very similar to that found in healthy joint fluid.

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, including in joint fluid and in cartilage, where it acts as a lubricant and shock absorber. The quality of hyaluronic acid deteriorates in osteoarthritis of the knee joint, leading to a reduction in its ability to protect and lubricate the joint and tissues.

Lubravisc offers immediate pain relief and long-acting support, protection and lubrication of the knee joint. Treatment of the knee joint is usually carried out in three stages with possible follow-up after a certain length of time.
