EUCAM®-Holz

EUCAM ® wood contains as main ingredient a natural carbohydrate from corn or potato starch. The coating develops non-combustible gases under fire and radiant heat (with no appreciable smoke formation) and protects the wood against the effects of fire by forming a thermally insulating foam layer of carbon. EUCAM ® wood is particularly environmentally friendly (odorless, halogen-, heavy metal- and solvent-free), easy to apply (painting, rolling, spraying) and completely transparent. To demonstrate the fire behavior according to DIN4102, the surfaces are flamed for ten minutes. During this time, among other things, the flue gas temperature and the smoke density are measured.

EUCAM ® wood is a near-natural, intumescent water-based fire protection coating for solid wood, chipboard and veneered plywood for dry indoor areas.
