Perovskite solar cells can achieve unmatched power-to-weight ratios due to their strong light absorption and high efficiency. New form factors for lightweight solar modules are enabled by ultra-thin perovskite films. Raw materials used in perovskite solar cells are produced in high volume at extremely low cost. Perovskites can be engineered to absorb different parts of the solar spectrum, enabling high-efficiency tandem solar cells.
