Graphene Oxide – Solid Form

Graphene sheets functionalized predominantly with a C-O-C group. Oxygen content 29 – 33 at. %, carbon content 65 – 69 at. %, impurities of S and N below 1 at. %, measured by XPS.
Small amount of structural defects, measured by scanning TEM
Content of monolayer flakes: > 95 % (from AFM)
Average lateral sizes of individual graphene oxide flakes: 0.1 – 5 μm (from AFM)
Easily re-dispersible in water using sonication bath.
