Manufacturer's Description

Graphene oxide (OG) is an oxidized form of graphene, with a structure composed of layers of graphene decorated with epoxide and hydroxyl groups on the surface, and carboxylic and carbonyl groups on the edges. Graphene oxide is water-soluble, amphiphilic, and can be easily dispersed in different solvents and polymer matrices, unlike graphite and graphene, which have a nonpolar character and are not soluble in water. The graphene oxide marketed by NanoView is an aqueous suspension produced by the Hummers and Hoffman method and has between 1 and 10 layers.
