Manufacturer's Description

Many of our systems are based on graphene printed electronics, which are thin, light-weight, extremely flexible, and mechanically and environmentally robust. Vorbeck manufactures its own materials (Vor-x®), conductive inks (Vor-ink™), electronic components, and complete wearable-electronic systems.
Vorbeck develops Vor-x® products to meet real-world industrial challenges. Vor-ink™ formulations harness the exceptional conductivity of graphene: ultra-flexible and robust inks and coatings for the printed electronics market. In energy applications, Vor-x® delivers demonstrable performance gains by breaking traditional technology trade-offs between battery capacity and power output. Plastic and rubber composites with low Vor-x® loadings attain extreme levels of strength, dimensional stability, conductivity, and environmental resistance, opening new application and design possibilities.

This conductive ink is one of the first products on the market to incorporate graphene, a sheet of carbon just one atom thick. Applying the ink with standard techniques can print wiring for RFID antennas, keypads, and display backplanes directly onto paper or cardboard stock. Unlike metallic conductive inks, the graphene ink does not have to be heated after printing.
