Manufacturer's Description

Do you want to protect your surface for scratches and against wear? Apply our anti-scratch hard coating and it will improve the durability of your product tremendously.

Kriya Material’s anti-scratch coating is a clear coating which provides a durable and scratch resistant functionality to your transparent plastic. This coating is available for:

√ Polethylene terephtalate (PET)
√ Triacetate cellulose (TAC)
√ Polycarbonate (PC)
√ Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)

but not limited to other substrates as well. Due to our in-house experience, we can adapt and fine tune the formulations to both your technical requirements and industrial processing conditions.

Standard properties of our anti-scratch coating are high transmission, low haze, high clarity and excellent adhesion to the substrate. Upon request, properties such as chemical resistance, hydrophilicity and overcoat ability can be added. The combination with functionalities such as anti-static, anti-glare, anti-fouling/hydrophobic, etc are possible in one layer.

The above properties and functionalities can be realized in a dry coating layer thickness between 2 and 10 µm, depending on the substrate, mechanical requirements and processing conditions.

Typical applications of this coating are: protective films, in- cartainment, touch panels, digital signage, screen protection, polarizer films, displays.

The scratch resistant hard coat is a protective coating for transparent substrates. This product is developed mainly for plastic sheet and roll-to-roll film coating such as PET, TAC, PC, PMMA and others. Our products are standard available as a solvent based, UV curable organic/inorganic hybrid which offers high optical transparency and scratch resistance to the substrate. For glass and steel, it is a solvent based inorganic system which is applied as a primer for subsequent functional layers as well as top coat for the improvement of scratch resistance and durability of the surface.
