Gold nanoparticles

Citrate-capped gold for passive adsorption in aqueous 2 mM sodium citrate. The concentration and surface chemistry of our gold nanoparticles are ideal to be used with the protocol developed by the Mirkin group (Hill et al., 2006) for the high-density conjugation to nucleic acids and aptamers (Chen et al., 2020).

The molar concentration of our gold nanoparticles is determined from TEM and UV-Vis spectra, as described by Hurst et al. (2006) and Liu et al. (2007). Exact specifications for each batch are reported in the Certificate of Analysis.
