EcoNano Permanent UV-protection treatment

This Nano treatment can also be applied on fabrics made of various types of synthetic fibers, such as polyester, polyester/cotton and nylon.

1. The treatment enhances the air-permeability; and it does not affect either the hand feel or the mechanical properties of the fabric. 2. The cost of applying EcoNano UV treatment on fabrics is very low; the dilution rate can be as low as 1% (1 kg of UV solution per 99 Kg of water).

According to the Australian - New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS 4399:1996), the EcoNano UV treatment provides excellent UV blocking effect.  The treated fabrics have an UV protection factor (UPF) of 50 +.  Normally, an untreated lightweight fabric has an UPF rating of 10,  while an EcoNano UV treated fabric may achieve an UPF rating as high as 350. The EcoNano UV treatment has excellent wash fastness, there is no change in UPF value even after 60 washes.
