C2Sense’s solution lies in developing sensors that can monitor volatiles directly related to meat/poultry/fish freshness and fruit ripeness at all stages of the supply chain. Our sensing platform will help to improve food quality and diminish food waste by allowing growers, storage facilities, distributors, retailers, and consumers to make dynamic decisions.

One-third of the global food supply is wasted, which equates to throwing out $1 trillion each year.  This food wastage also comes at a steep environmental and social price, totaling $1.6 trillion, ~50% of which is lost due to natural resource usage.
