All multimode, and singlemode cables (except OM1) utilize bend-insensitive optical fibers. LSHF (Low Smoke Halogen Free) rating provided by UL. LSHF testing includes IEC 61034-2 (UL), IEC 60754 1 & 2 (UL). Additional IEC test 60332-3-24 performed by HCA to ensure performance to industry standards. NanoCore™ Single-Jacket Micro Distribution offers 250 micron fiber optic strands in a loose tube design allowing for a higher fiber strand count in a very small overall diameter cable. Each fiber strand is color coded for easy identification. The cable is flexible and easy to handle and uses lightweight, flexible aramid yarns to enhance strength. Subunits with 12 strands are only 2mm in diameter. NanoCore™ Interconnect Micro Distribution cable is ideal for MPO (MTP®) style connectors where higher data rates are desired.
