Manufacturer's Description

Fine-grained WC-based cemented carbide grade VHS10 and VHS12 for rotary cutting tools (RCT) is similar to standard cemented carbide grade designed for tribological and wear applications. RCT grade is additionally doped with Cr and V carbides that serve as WC grain growth inhibitors. Fine-grained cemented carbide grades have better hardness, toughness and bending strength, as compared to standard cemented carbides. They also feature excellent resistance to diffusion wear and to buildup of workpiece material of the cutting tip.
