Due to the special deposition process, D-coat diamond layers have almost the same properties as natural diamond. Nanocrystalline diamond coatings from d-coat GmbH are particularly suitable for applications where increased material lubrication can occur. Due to the very low surface roughness of the coating, these material lubrications can be significantly reduced and thus the performance of the respective cutting tool or wear component can be significantly increased.
