Magnetic ParticelsIron(III) oxide
γ-Fe2O3 Nanocolloid CAS Number : 1309-37-1Particle composition: Crosslinked vinylic polymer; Magnetite (γ-Fe3O4) content ≈ 90 % v/v Mean diameter particle: ≈180 nm Saturation magnetization: 35 emu g-1 Packaging: 250 mL aqueous suspension (2 mg/mL) stabilised with surfactants.
MagP® are plain superparamagnetic core-shell nanoparticles (≈180 nm) in which the shell is based on a cross-linked vinylic polymer.
magPMagP® are specially recommended for high protein loading in a variety of immobilisation applications including RIA (radioimmunoassay) and immunoassays. Since magP® particles are porous and have a high surface area, high-protein loading is achieved (Download TechNote).
They are available in aqueous suspension (2 mg/mL) stabilised with surfactants. Thus, they have to be cleaned before use.
