Water FilterPorous Materials
NanoporousThe NXF MexFil™ direct nanofiltration (dNF) modules exhibit excellent fouling tolerance due to the hollow fiber configuration and chlorine tolerant modified polyether sulfone membrane chemistry. The dNF modules replace conventional hollow fiber UF plus spiral wound NF or RO with one simple process. As a result capital and operating cost are reduced significantly as well as the footprint of the unit. The dNF technology combines partial desalination with organics (e.g. color) removal. For potable water and municipal waste water treatment the modules provide excellent removal of micro pollutants, include pesticides, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, synthetic hormones and endocrine disruptors like bisphenol A. Other applications include industrial or municipal waste water re-use. The excellent pH tolerance make it also an interesting technology for a wide range of process applications including caustic cleaning fluid recycling.
