Al2O3 • 2SiO2 • 2H2O Nanoparticle /Nanopowder CAS Number : 1332-58-7NYCOA nylon 6 resins are used for protective jacketing in THHN, THWN, MC, and NM construction in both residential and commercial wire manufacturing. NYCOA nylons also provide oil and grease resistance in appliance and machine tool wire and resistance to thermal degradation in radiant heating cables. These materials possess an excellent balance of mechanical properties including stiffness, impact strength, and toughness. Nylon 6 resins offer exceptional chemical resistance to oils and gasoline, and provide outstanding performance in applications involving exposure to elevated temperatures. Nylon jacketing is an asset when applied over PVC in building wire because it protects the insulation during conduit pull-through.
Recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and meets the most rigorous requirements for protective jacketing materials used in wire and cable. It can be processed at line speeds up to 6000 ft/min, dependent on the size of the wire and extrusion equipment.
