BYK Tixogel® MPI Organoclay

Tixogel MPI is designed as an easy-to-disperse, self-activating rheological additive for low and medium polarity solvent based coating systems. Tixogel MPI prevents sagging and settling in resin based systems. Tixogel MPI is not effective in binderless products, such as lubricating grease. Tixogel MPI is effective in rust preventatives based on salts of oxidized petrolatum when used as directed. Tixogel MPI can be added to the pigment grind or added to finished product to adjust viscosity. Tixogel MPI needs little or no polar activator. Information provided by Southern Clay Products
