On the edge of North Jutland. A little outside Hadsund. Surrounded by trees and with a lake in the backyard, one finds Flemming. The yellow farmhouse has been rebuilt and rebuilt several times since, but it was here that it all began in 1997. Back when Beauté Pacifique was still a baby dream, his wife Margith simply went with the considerations of becoming self-employed and the three children Christian, Jens and Amalie were still just children. -It was a big decision when we threw ourselves into our adventure, and it was a decision that the whole family was common to make. We knew it would be exciting - but it would also require many and long working days, so it was important that we all thought it was a good idea. That way, it also became our joint project, says Flemming. Home-made creams It's been 23 years since then, and the time when Flemming and Margith touched creams in the kitchen at home and the whole family sat around the coffee table on Saturday night to put labels on tubes is now just a fond memory. The trees have grown and so have the children. Beauté Pacifique has also become an adult and worldwide company that successfully develops and sells skin care products with a proven effect. Generational change Beauté Pacifique and GMPack are the cornerstones behind the effective skin care products. Beauté Pacifique markets and sells the products, GMPack produces them - and the products are developed in close collaboration between the two companies. In Beauté Pacifique, Flemming and Amalie are firmly located in the management corridor, where father and daughter manage the company's daily operations and development in close and targeted collaboration. At GMPack, Margith and Christian are in charge of the production of, among other things, the Beauté products and the packaging of medicines and dietary supplements, which the company is also certified to perform. The generational change is in full swing in both companies, where Flemming and Margith hand over the helm to Amalie and Christian. Only the fifth member of the family, the son Jens, does not have his daily routine in the companies. He had other dreams that led him a different way, but he still follows the adventure with as much commitment as when he was involved in pasting labels on the tubes in front of the television on Saturday night at home in the living room -We are talking about a lot of other things than work when we are together. But nonetheless, it is a common interest we have - and it connects the family in a very special way, says Amalie. Skin care manufacturer by chance Beauté Pacifique is known both at home and abroad as Danish skin care that works effectively on both age changes and sun damage. But how it was to end with the Jutland family setting out to develop skin care with a documented effect was actually a bit of a coincidence.
