In the early days of hair extensions words like ‘real hair’, ‘customised’ and ‘customer care’ just didn’t exist. The customer was not a priority and selling synthetic, poorly made extensions was all that was on offer. Many years ago, our director discovered the sad truth about hair extensions after losing a fair amount of hair after pregnancy. The high street hair shops expected customers to pay generous sums of money for a very poor quality product. Worse than that, there seemed to be a total lack of interest in the needs of the individual, and no one seemed to have the knowledge or desire to answer the many questions most women had. A lot of the time, you could expect nothing more than a set of extensions which would last only a few weeks. But, times have changed – and thank goodness they have! Full of frustration, she set about trying to find a new solution. She knew the high street shops just weren’t up to scratch and began working towards finding the way forward. Her research led her to a product called Virgin Hair, which in simple terms is natural human hair, uncoloured, un-styled and in its original form - These were the attributes that extension wearers desired. The prices were higher than what we were used to, but at last, a new product which looked better, felt better and could be re-used! After further research and a thorough process of product testing over the course of a year, Virgin Hair And Beauty was born. The response was instant and incredibly exciting. It became clear that Virgin Remy Hair was the future of hair extensions, Our clients loved the hair and also valued our expertise in helping them choose the correct hair type, extension type and colours to suit their requirements.
