Textile Fibers, Yarns, and FabricsFiber
Textiles which could radiate infrared ray contain bioceramic nano particles. These textiles are able to return infrared ray to a body as well. Far Infrared (wavelength 3-100 μm) has plenty of effect on biological activities. Research shows that the electromagnetic spectrum with the wavelength 6-14 μm can penetrate the human body. As a result, Far Infrared (FIR) is counted as biogenetic rays. Protein cells, fat and water of a body will be exposed to infrared ray by its penetration into skin. Slight fluctuation causes thermal reaction leading to increase in body tissue’s temperature. The vasodilation enhances blood circulation on a micro and macro scale. The textiles obtaining mentioned nanoparticles (ceramic nano particles obtained from natural ores) have the ability to restore the infrared ray of the body, so wasted energy would be returned to the body causing favorable biological effect. Heat therapy, also called thermotherapy, is the use of heat in therapy, such as for pain relief and health. The early history of heat therapy can be traced back thousands of years to eastern traditional medicine. Heat creates higher tissue temperatures, which produces vasodilation that increases the supply of oxygen and nutrients leading to metabolism enhancement.
