This product is polyamide thread containing silver nanoparticles. The use of silver in the production of textiles has caused progress in development of health care. In order to reduce body odor, formation of microorganisms produced in sweat should be prevented. Silver has antibacterial properties and due to high diffusion rate of silver nanoparticles, it can destroy microorganisms. The main advantage of this product compared to similar products is placement of silver in the texture of the thread. This advantage leads to release of smaller amount of silver and maintaining long-term anti-bacterial properties.

Silver is an effective antimicrobial agent and in the form of nanoparticles, it provides terrific driving forces for diffusion, which allows chemical reactions to occur at a high rate. High specific surface area and the dispersion ability of the nanoparticles cause better contact with microorganisms and improve antimicrobial activities.
